About Me

I was aware of the concept of human struggle at a very young age. Through the experiences of others, as well as my own, I have learned that life does not always go as planned. Bad things happen to good people, and good people sometimes make bad choices. I have learned that people hurt people, experience loss and disappointment, and sometimes wake up living a life that feels foreign to them. In response, I have been given the opportunity over the course of my life to watch as those struggling individuals have found freedom, restoration, and healing. I have learned that the struggle of another, rather than being an inconvenience or imposition, is an invitation to travel alongside them and offer compassion and hope. This is an invitation that I have embraced and do not take lightly.

This acceptance of human struggle and the invitation to travel alongside another, is at the heart of who I am as a therapist. I value ALL people, regardless of age, gender, race, socioeconomic status, sexuality, religion, or life circumstance. I believe in the power of change in a person’s life, and count it a privilege to be a part of that change.

If you are in the midst of your own human struggle, it is my hope that you begin the healing process today. If you should invite me to travel alongside you, together we will work to bring you peace and restoration, and create for you a life worth celebrating! You deserve to live your best life!
